Messing about with the landscape – Mark Reeves FRPS

Tonights guest speaker is Mark Reeves FRPS. Mark lives on the Wirral and is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society. Mark was awarded The Fenton Medal by the RPS in 2o22. The award is made to a member or non-member who has made an outstanding contribution to the work of The Royal Photographic Society.

“Messing About with the Landscape” is a talk designed both to entertain and to stimulate creativity amongst attendees.
Lasting approx 1.5 hours, the presentation covers:
> how photographers and painters portray the landscape differently
> how and why he moved away from traditional landscape photography to a more creative approach
> the techniques he uses; ICM, double exposures, diffusers, selective focusing
> equipment and camera settings
> post processing
> tips and tricks for creative approaches to landscape
> discussion / questions and answers.
Meetings start at 7.30pm and usually end around 9.30pm
