Richard Speirs DPAGB APAGB BPE2 from Carlisle judged 82 images in the Annual PDI Competition.
We must thank Richard for a very entertaining & informative evening, I’m sure everyone enjoyed his comments with his delightful sense of humour, he showed great interest in all the winning images, how they were captured & where they were taken, we’ve not had that interaction before with the judge, so I think it went down very well with the audience. On Monday 3rd September Jane Morris Absom LRPS CPAGB AFIAP from Richmond Camera Club judged 55 prints over the eight categories.
The images that came first in each section can be seen opposite. The eight winners in this competition have the opportunity, if they wish, to have their images displayed in the Joe Cornish Gallery in Northallerton during August.

For our 2022/23 season we are pleased to say that Pauline Pentony MA EFIAP ARPA DPAGB is the clubs PDI Photographer of the Year and wins the Full Measure Trophy. The Print Photographer of the Year is John Webster ARPS MPAGB who wins The Print Trophy. Congratulations and well done to them both for a consistent performance over the whole season.
