We are pleased to say that the results of the 2022 NCPF Annuals Competition have now been made available. Northallerton Camera Club did very well winning The Corder Trophy for the Best Club Entry of Monochrome prints.
Our members entered up to 3 Prints or PDI into each of 3 categories, Colour Prints, Mono Prints and PDI. In addition the club selected 6 in each category to represent the club in ‘club entries’.
In the Monochrome Prints category, for the “Corder Trophy”: for the first time in our history Northallerton won the Trophy being placed first with a total of 70 points to Keswick’s 68 and Workington’s 67. In both the Colour Prints and the PDI, Northallerton were placed 4th, with both being won by Keswick.
There were also several other successes for our members, with Highly Commended Certificates, entries selected for the PAGB Alliance Competitions in June, and others chosen for the NCPF Portfolio, which is available for any NCPF Club to show its members.
This in itself is a cracking result for the club, but it doesn’t stop there because Pauline Pentony BA(Hon) ARPS AFIAP DPAGB won the Bryan Gilbert Trophy for the Best Portrait in the PDI Section.
A great big well done to everyone who entered and especially to those who met with success. Below are links to a full copy of the results and also an abbreviated one listing Northallerton’s results only.
It’s great to see so many entries from the club doing well. Many of them, the most successful ones, are likely to be entered for up 3 future national level competitions at which we hope they will do as well or better.
Below is a small selection of our submitted images from each of the three categories.
Recently, as part of our ongoing campaign to a) raise the profile of the club b) to encourage new people to join us and c) to hopefully educate and inform members and none members alike, we have been sending out Occasional Email Updates. These contain links to articles, news, information on upcoming events outside of the club as well as reminders of what we’re up to. Anyone who is a member or known former member has been ‘subscribed’ to the list, but if you’re not receiving these then why not sign up for our Occasional Email Updates and receive more news, tips, event information and more!
Alongside the above updates we’ve also revamped our Facebook Page and Facebook Group which you’re encouraged to ‘like’ and join. To complement the Facebook offering we also now have an Instagram Feed, so please follow us on there too.
