The second Chair’s challenge of the year was for members to submit ‘Calendar Images’ that show-off our fabulous county of North Yorkshire. Members can submit up to 5 PDIs for this and these should be submitted to David Snowdon by Monday17th March. Images should be ‘landscape’ in format. The best images will be selected by Miles and Stuart for the club’s 2026 calendar. It is worth bearing in mind images that suggest a season or month, or that show off North Yorkshire’s life, landscapes, places and events. All submitted images will be shown on the evening of Monday 31st March – our last presentation evening before the AGM on 7th April.
For submissions, please follow the usual formatting guidelines – see below:
PDI:- i) PDI should be in sRGB colour space, in JPEG or JPG format and sized at 1600 x 1200 pixels, so that the horizontal side does not exceed 1600 pixels and the vertical side does not exceed 1200 pixels.
ii) The file name should conform to the format:- Given Name (space) Family Name (hyphen) Title eg:- David Snowdon-Dales Barns. Please keep to this format it saves a lot of work
iii) Please keep titles to a maximum of 25 characters (including spaces).
When you send PDIs to David Snowdon, please state which event they are for in your email.
