Discover North Yorkshire Calendar 2025

A 2025 Calendar entitled ‘Discover North Yorkshire’ has been produced by Stuart Goldie on behalf of the Club.

The Calendar features images from Club Members alongside images supplied by Calendar Sponsors. Selling at £5 per copy it is be available from retailers and attractions around the town and local area. 

Cover images are by Dave Coates with ‘Wharfedale in Winter’ and on the back is ‘Whitby from the 199 Steps’ by Neil Barker. Inside we have images from Paul Cayton with ‘Swaledale Meadows’, John Webster with ‘Autumn Magic’, Sheila Coates is featured in January with ‘Winter Walk, Malham’, Stuart Goldie has his image ‘Snow Topping’ featured for April and for September he also has ‘Vale of York Panorama’. November has ‘South Gare Sands’ by Richard Cochrane and December features Byland Abbey by Trish Newey-King.

Images for some months have been provided by the sponsors who are Kipling Hall & Gardens, Sam Turner & Sons, Colin Hutson Accounting Ltd, The Showman’s Guild of Great Britain, Whitegates Nursery & Cafe, Great Yorkshire Show, World of James Herriot, Northern Dales Farmers Markets and The Forum, Northallerton.

Proceeds from the sale of the Calendar will benefit the Club, so we encourage you to buy copies and also to support the sponsors whenever you can.

Annual Exhibition

Northallerton Library - 17 August to 7 September

Our Annual Exhibition in Northallerton Library will run from Saturday 17 August until Saturday 7 September.

The prints will be removed from the Library on Saturday 7 September, so don’t leave it until then!

See the Programme Page for the Library opening times as they vary from day to day, Monday to Saturday of course.

New Season

The new season begins on Monday 9 September. New members will be made very welcome alongside those returning regular members.

Richard Cochrane starts us off with the second part of his OM1 experience – more details can be found on the Programme Page.
